Maori
Today for Maori we made slide show about the weather in each day. On Sunday it was cloudy. On Monday it was raining. On Tuesday it was also raining and on Wednesday it was sunny. Sunday in Maori means Ratapu. Monday means Rahina. Tuesday means Ratu and Wednesday means Raapa.
Kiwi can
L.I: To show respect to our school
Today me and group A went to kiwi can. Mr Matt one of our kiwi can leaders set us up into 4 lines. Next we went into our energiser. For our energiser was Center ball. To play the kiwi can leaders gave us a number, 1 to 4. I was number 1 and the rest were different numbers. Every time the kiwi can leaders says a number the person who has that number has to run around the circle back to there spot where they were at and grab the ball. Then we talked about why we break rules sometimes. We had different kinds of answer like our emotions our not controlled or like because we feel like we want to break the rules and more. After we played a game called bus stop. To play bus stop we all went in a group of 4. Next we draw what was on the whiteboard. Then every time the kiwi can leader says a letter we needed to write all of the categories but with the same letter. Like a boy name, girl name, food, animal and colour. When we finish the first team has to say Bus Stop to stop the game and give their answers. If we have the same answer we get 5 points but if we get different answer then we get 10 points. When the game is done we add all of our points. The team with the most points win but my team lost but another team won. After that we got our points for the end of kiwi can. Our points we 25. Finally we lined and walked back to our class.

World war 1
L.I: To learn about the causes,conflict and resolution to World war 1
Today me and Leroy did the a slide called World war 1 interactive netbook. There were 11 slides and me and Leroy did the main slide. M is for Militarism, A is for Alliances,I is for Imperialism and N is for Nationalism. A Militarism is a belief that you need to spend a lot of money on defence and to build up a military. Alliances is a relationship in which people agree to work together. Imperialism is the practice of a large country or government stronger by taking over poorer or weaker countries that have important resources. The Immediate cause of world war 1 was when gavrilo principle assassinated archduke franz ferdinand.

Boxing
L.I: To learn how to do boxing
Today me and group A went to the hall for our first session for boxing. Our coach was Pax. She started boxing 3 years ago and she won a boxing match. Next we put on our liners to keep our sweat and boxing gloves. For our 3 commands were Respect,discipline and safety. What learn was our rock position,Jab and cross. The rock position is when you put your legs apart and you cover your bone cheeks and our stomach under our eyes with our arms. Then we did our Jab. To do our Jab we needed to hit straight. The cross is when you do a straight punch but turning your leg. After we went in a line and try to push each other but lightly and we had to do jab and cross 10 times. After that we were done our session and we went back to class.

Sparks
L.I: To not have conflict
Today Mr.Wong teach us what is Conflict. Conflict is a fight between you and another person or you and a bunch of people. We read a story called Sparks. Sparks is about a boy named Dillon that had a scooter but haves sparks. When he had it he didn't want anyone to ride on it. His brother Harley wants to ride on Dillon's scooter but Dillon said no. He even didn't want the kid from next door to ride on it. 2 days later Dillon's mum suggest if Dillon should share his scooter with Harley. The next day Dillon's mum said if Harley can have a turn but Dillon said no but then one afternoon when Dillon was finish with in the toilet his Scooter was gone. Dillon's dad saw him crying because someone stole his scooter. When he was home he calm down and Dillon's mum hug him.

Maori
Today Ode came into our class and she told us a story about the a book called In the beginning. It was about 6 sons trying to push their dad and mum apart. How did they push them apart. Tane used his legs to push his dad away. After that they because gods. Tane was spirit of forest. Tu was god of Man and war. The other brothers were gods as well. We used a site called Te puni Kokiri. I don't know the purpose of the site. We sang a song called Hoki mai.

Today me and group A went to kiwi can. We had new kiwi can leaders and they were Mr. Matt,Miss. Page. For our theme was respect. Our topic is respect for our school. For our energiser we played No rules vs rules. To play we have to play a game like tag but with no rules. When they say stop we change the game with rules. Next we talked about rules and why we have to use them. After we played another game for our activity. The game was called Role play. How we played was we each went in a group and we started to do different acting like 2 groups have to be respectful and the other was to be mean. I was in the mean side. Then when we were finish we had to perform our role play. After that we played Master before morning tea and the master was Lukah. Finally we ended kiwi can and we went back to class.
