 L.I: To investigate on the topics of cyber and physical bullying 

One of our care award challenge required us to make a DLO about cyberbullying and physical bullying. Cyberbullying can cause sending embarrassing messages, sending inappropriate messages and harassing a person with another account. Cyberbullying can affect a person mental health. It can also cause suicide thoughts.

Physical bullying can include constantly picking on a certain person for no apparent reason. Bullying can affect one's health and lifespan which is very bad for the person. Both kinds of bullying can cause suicidal thoughts.

Kawa of care

L.I: Be cybersmart and use our devices to learn, create and share

On this task we had to learn about the Kawa of care. The Kawa of care is basically learning how to take care of your chrome book. One of the things to know about during your training is that you cant eat or drink near your chrome book. This task was very easy and fun.

How to make a strong password

L.I: To learn how to make a strong password.

A password is a code or lock that can be use to unlock things. When making a strong password you need to mix numbers, symbols (? , ! ' )and upper and lower case letters. There is 2 ways of making a password. 1 way is to make a random phrase. Another way is using the Acronym method.

The random phrase method is a mix of 2 random words that don't make sense. Then replace some letters to  symbols, upper and lower case letters and numbers.

Acronym is another way of making a strong password. Make a sentence with 8 words or more. Then take the first letter of each word then mix it up together. Then replace some letter and lower case letters and numbers.

For cyber we made our own poster about one of the simple machines. My simple machines was an wheel and axle. We had to do the definition, example and how it works. The definition of an wheel and axle is the wheel and axle move a car or a plane with friction.

Smart searching

L.I: To use keywords for better searching

For cyber smart we had to use smart searching to find our answer for our questions. Our questions were: How many positions are there in netball, Which team has the highest win percentage in netball and What do the positions do?
We had to use smart searching by taking the key words and putting it in the google search. We check sites to see the answer. We had to check other sites to see if we were correct.

How to organise your drive

L.I: To organise our drives correctly

I cleaned up my drive. I used 2 short cuts to organise my drive faster. One way is to hold down shift and click on the row you want and put it in a folder. Another way is to hold control and click on the files you need and put it inside a folder.

Attribute

3. I chose a photo
4. I visited the site
5. I copied the photo URL
6. Then went on the creator profile
7. Copied the creator URL
8. After copied the Pixabay license

How to make a safe password

L.I: To make a safe password

This week I made a poster about how to make a safe password. Your password haves to not be something about you because if it is it will be easy for the hackers to hack your account. You can use a phrase or a word that is not in the dictionary because it will be harder for the hackers to guess your password.

This is all for cybersamrt. Me and group A learnt what is Media? I guessed Media means technology because we watched a video that showed us what is media is. It showed us different kinds of Technology . Media means construction. The Construction is made by different creators. Me and group A made a word cloud.
