L.I: To learn how to serve

Today for kiwi sport we learnt how to serve a ball diagonally . First we had to throw a ball diagonally. We put our left hand up in the air and a right hand near our ear. Next we throw the ball over our left hand and try hit a cone. Every time we hit a cone its a point. Then we used our rackets in a different way. We have to throw the ball up and bend our elbows and hit the ball in a diagonally direction.

Supply & Demand

L.I: What is Supply & Demand

For Supply and demand we did a slide show on it and played a game about it. Supply mean when you make or get something wanted or needed to sell. Demand means a request or command made by someone. We also did Price, Quantity and Equilibrium. Price means the amount of money required or given payment for something. Quantity means the amount of a supply and Equilibrium means a condition in where opposite influences and equal.

For the game we had an item. We had choose the number of stocks to sell. We had to give a price between 2-5-10 dollars. 2 dollar is 20 number dice, 5 dollar is 10 number dice and 10 is a 6 number dice.  We roll the dice whatever it lands on is the amount of stock sell. Whatever the remaining is we subtract it with the money. The result is the money we have. The remaining stocks is the how much money we made.

Tennis

L.I: To learn the Volly
We learnt how to do a Volly. A volly is when you try and keep the ball from bouncing on the floor. First we put the ball on the net and see where the rolls. Whatever side its lands is the first person serves. If the person doesn't hit the ball and it bounces on the floor on their side its a point to the other opponent.

Touch

L.I: To experience in touch
For touch we had 4 games. 1 against pride, Sylvia Park, Panama and Point England. I first game was against Pride. We lost because it was 3-1. The next game was against Panama. We lost again because its was 3-2. Then we lost our next game to Sylvia park because it was 7-0 and we lost our final game to Point England because it was 1-4. We lost all of games but the other teams in our group were doing good. The A team for the year 5-6 came second place in the play off.
