Fact Find

L.I: To learn about something new

Today we did fact find. We had to choose an topic. My group and I chose sport and we did rugby league. What we had to do was find 5 facts about the rugby league. Then we had to attribute images and photos and we added information sources.

In rugby league there can only be 13 players and 4 subs in each team. The Rugby League field is 68 meters long and If a team gets tackled 6 times in a row the team hands over the ball to the other team.
This topic was interesting.

We also did idioms. Idiom is a group of words. What we had to do was make a video using Idioms.

Independant Activities

L.I: To practice independent activities.

Our groups started a rotation. The activities we attempted were Basic Facts Boxes, Drills, Abacus, and finding a group logo. For the drills I had to answer addition questions. I attempted the Up to 10 Speed Demon challenge on Basic Facts Boxes. It took me 8 minutes and 18 seconds to complete all addition Basic Facts Boxes. Some of these challenges were difficult but I was still able to finish some of them.

Kiwi Can

L.I: To motivate and participate in things

For Kiwi Can we learnt about Giving things a go. For our energiser we played "Grab the cone". To play we had to get in partners and have a cone in the middle of both people. Then we get given a word. The person will tell the story and as soon they say the word both people will try and grab the cone. If we get the cone its a point. If we don't then we have to do either a star jump or Push up.

Our Next activity was called "Poses ". Same thing from last game we had to get in partners. Then a person says an pose that we have to do. When they say go we turn around and try make the funniest pose.
