In our session of Ki O rahi we learnt about the Kioma role. We played 3 activities to learn about the Kioma role. Those activities are Ki O Rahi, golden child and Rescue of Te ara.
Kioma role
1 member from Kioma has to go to the Te marama. Te marama is the place where the kicker has to be. The Kaitiaki has to enter through Te ara. Once one of the members are there they have to kick the ki to the Kaitiaki. If the ki rolls or drops then its the Taniwha's ball. If the Kaitiaki catches the Ki then they have to throw it to the kioma team.
