Quick Write | The Evil Chef
L.I: To write a short story
Today I wrote a narrative about a girl and a boy going to camp but their was a evil chef. The chef made food that made kids disappear. The girl was named Samantha and the boy was named Fred. Samantha and Fred were best friend so they were both excited since their both going and their experiencing camping for their first time. At morning tea the class got their morning tea and ate. At the end the teacher reported the incident and the Chef was arrested.

Splitting Numbers
L.I: To add by splitting one number to make a tidy number
Today I practice Splitting numbers. I had to do mutiple tasks. One was a diagram. The diagram shows how I solved the probably. The other task is a story problem and I have to use the main number question in the story. The third task was practising splitting numbers. The final task was explaining how I solved 65 + 8. To figure it out what I did was split 8 into 3 and 5. The n add 5 to 65 to make 70. Then finally add 3 to 70 to create 73.

Kiwi Can
L.I: To be an role model
Today for Kiwi Can we learnt how to be an role model. For our energiser we played Hammer. To play you have to lay your fist on each other fist. When they say "Up" the bottom fist has to go at the top. When they say "Down" the top fist goes at the bottom. When they say "Hammer" the top fist has to hit the other fist below it. For the activity we played O's and X's. To play 1 person from each team has to pick a cone and do the O sign or the X sign. To win the game you have to be 3 in a row. You either be in a vertical position or the horizontal position or diagonal position.

This week we had to practice creating simple sentences. We had to visualise each picture and make a simple sentences. A simple sentence is 1 complete thought. This is an example: "He nearly caught the ball.". That is a simple sentence because its explaining about what he did.

Today for kiwi can we learnt about listening. For our engiser we played Cone It. To play we have different actions. The person says those actions and we have to do it but once they say "cone it" we have to grab the cone. For our activity we played a whispering game. To play we have to go in a circle and then one person gets a word. The person then has to whisper the word to the next person. Once the last person hear the word they have to guess the word.

This week we extended our sentence understanding to what is a Compound sentence. First we watched a video showing how a compound sentence is 2 thoughts on a subject joined with a conjunction. Next we learnt that FANBOYS are conjunctions to join sentences. It stands for (For,And, Nor, But, Or, Yet and So) . We hen tested our understanding by recording mixed up sentences. I have created this DLO which I hope it helps your understanding.

This week we did Rippa Rugby. First we did drills to warm us up. What we did was we get in to group and the person in front has the ball and they have to pass the ball back to the other person. When catching we had to make a W shape and catch the ball. After that the last person will have to throw to the other person on the opposite side and do the same thing back. After that we played Rippa rugby. We tried our best but we ended up in a draw. I had fun and I would like to play again.
