Today I read The Thirteen. The author is James Phelan and the illustrator is Terry Denton. In this book the main characters are Sam, Rapha, Maria and Phoebe. The 3 things that happen in this story were The lemon shark attack, Maria got kidnapped and a secret professor attempted to invade and destroy earth. While I was reading the book I also found new words. I learnt the word lush, Terse and grimace. I thought this book was cool and I would like to read the rest of the series.
