Percentages are the ratio of a fraction of 100.
Decimals are numbers that share a value but is separated from a dot called the decimal.
Fractions has a numerator and denominator. The numerator is the amount of pieces the person have and the denominator is the number that the whole has been divided by.
Equivalent fractions are fractions that have the same value. Equivalent fraction example: 1/2 = 2/4
Improper fractions are fractions but the numerator is greater than the denominator. Improper fraction example: 2/4 = 4/8
To find a fractions of a set take a number like 24. Then try and find two thirds of 24. First thing to do is find 1 third of 24. So you do 24 divided by 3 which equals 8 (24 ÷ 3 = 8) Then you do 8 times 2 which equals 16 ( 8 x 2 = 16) . So then two thirds of 24 is 16.
