SSR Selfie | Speed Machines

In my SSR Selfie activity I read a book called Speed Machines. Speed machines is made by Miranda Smith and illustrated by James Dyson. Speed Machines is about vehicle world records.

3 facts I learnt from the book was that the fastest jet in the world is called the Thrust SSC. The Thrust SSC goes up to 1,227.99km/h. Another fact I learnt in the book was the the strongest construction vehicle is called the Giant Excavators. The Giant Excavators could hold 345 tonnes of dirt. The last fact I learnt in the book was the fastest bullet train in the world is called the Shanghai Maglev. It's located in Pudong, Shanghai, China. The Shanghai Maglev can go up to 430km/h.

The Shanghai Maglev fact is most interesting one out of all of the facts in the book. I recommend kids to read these type of books because its very good to learn about special events.
