Aboriginal

For art I did Aboriginal art. Aboriginal art comes from Australia and in the art it tells a story. The story is told by symbols that has meanings to it.

I learnt how to make Aboriginal art using the dots and dragging technique. The dots technique is basically when you make dots to create symbols. The dragging technique is when you drag the cotton bud (Or any painting materials) to create symbols.

Last week I practised doing the dot and dragging technique. I made symbols on a piece of paper. When I was practising the dot technique I had to space the dots equally and try make the dots the same size. For the dragging technique, I only made symbols.

Then the next week I had to make the aboriginal art that is going to be on the wall. So I made my aboriginal art. First I traced out a cut out Koala. Next I designed and coloured the inside of my traced out Koala. Then I made symbols on the outside of my Koala and made symbols. The symbols I made is apart of a (customise) story of the Koala.

The Koala's story: The koala was walking on a hot day and then he fainted. Then the Koala woke up next to water and tried to drink it but then he woke up in the reality world and he spotted a hunter. The hunter walked up to the Koala with a weapon and he killed the Koala.
