Events
  • First.. We went to the hall and set up groups of 9 and 12 then played a couple of games.

  • Next.. We played the last game that included a sack, Egg and spoon and blindfold.

  • Then..We started the race but it was pretty hard because the egg and spoon was hard. You had to walk up on a chair in the middle of your path. Then go to the hoop then go back to your group. The sack was easy you had to go there and back. Blindfold was hard you couldn’t see and you had to crawl under a chair go to the hoop and go back to your team.

  • Last..We had a final and it was pretty hard because everyone had a turn at doing everything. The hardest one to be honest was the blindfold because it was hard to go there and back. cause you couldn't see. At the end everyone had fun and enjoyed it.

  • The day was… Fun Because we all played games and we all got to try something new.

Cooperative Games

Last week Thursday LS1 lined up at the hall then went and sat down. Mr Ogilvie talked to us about what we should make a game with then Mr Ogilvie chosen three people with their hands up and said to them choose a piece of equipment and those three pieces of equipment were mats, Net balls and Hula hoops. Mr Ogilvie choose what those equipment were for and we all played the game we made up.

The goal of the game was to use the mats as a safe spot to go to the hula hoop and score a goal with the net ball but you have to get 10 different people to score a goal and if the ball didn’t go in the hoop and touched the lava you had to restart.

Last Mr Ogilvie made up a game and thought of equipment and setup the game for us.
The game Included an Egg, Spoon, a blindfold and a sack. If you were a sack you had to go to the hoop and back to your team. If you were a blindfold you had to army crawl under a chair in the middle of your path then to the hula hoop and back to your team and Finally if you were the egg and spoon person you had to walk up to a chair and stand on and go off it on the side and go to the hoop  and get back to your team. Then the next three goes up to do the challenge of the egg and spoon,blindfold and sack.  



Summery of Little dragon and the haunted

 This is my summery of "Little dragon and the haunted house". This book is amazing to read because it all haves the meaning of words that I don't know.  He can get rich by crying. He can no breath out fire and fly. He haves a friend called Jago. He is also friends with Jago's family. When they got they new house Jago's mom cleaned up the whole house. The ghost was very sad that Jago's mom cleaned up the house. Then the all of the ghost said horror day!!!!!!!!!! then they had a Halloween  party and the ghost became friends with Jago and little dragon.

Reading 2018



Today I worked on my Reading 2018. This is what I needed to work on. It was Learning words that I don't know,Mongering,Explaining,Answering questions quick and knowledge. That was what i needed work on. This is what I enjoy in reading. I like enjoying Predicting,Mongering,Answering questions quickly and sounding out words that i Don't know about. This is what i'm good at Predicting and sounding out words that I don't know. This what  I will use for reading so I can move on to my next reading level.   

Winter Olympics



L.I: Is to learn about what happens in the Winter Olympics. This week we did a Winter Olympics post. We had to work in groups. My group was Matthew,Liletina and Xavier. We had to find who,were,what,how and the distance. There was a lot of athletes that participated in the Winter Olympics. We had to find information about the Winter Olympics and the meaning of it.

Kiwi Sport

L.I: To throw and catch a softball.

Today me and my class went to kiwi sport. The kiwi sport leader's name was Alison. Next we have to find a patter. We got a soft ball to throw and catch. We had to make a action called monkey-die and to move side to side we have to be an crab. Our patter haves to throw the softball and the other patter haves to catch the softball. You have to throw to your patters chest.  We have to make a butterfly with our hands to catch the softball.  We made a "L" shape to throw the softball. When it was finished we went back to class.

Kiwi can

Kiwi Can Rules: Listen,Respect and put your hands up if you want to ask a question.

Today we attended ¨kiwi can¨. Kiwi can is a place where we perform fun activities. We lined up in four lines as we participated in a game called ¨freeze tag¨. Before we started our activity, two bodies were chosen to become ¨taggers¨. We had different set of rules to play freeze tag it was slow motion,fast forward and pow walking. After that we did our GKQ (general,knowledge and question).We had questions that were asked but in order to answer the question a buzzer has to be performed. After the buzzer is performed only then the one who completes the buzzer may answer. For example: My time as the buzzer came and I was asked to spin once on the spot as i was competing against three other classmates. We answer some questions. We learnt that without instructions it would be hard to learn and play the game. As our activity came to an end we lined up as we marched back to class. Today was very helpful to me and my classmates because we learnt to work together to have positive relationships.

L.I: This is a attribution . This is how I did it. First I put a link to my work. Next I put the creator's name. Then I put a link to the creator's name. After that I put the license. finally I put a link to the license for the creator's page. Why did I do this. So the creator might think we are stealing their work also to let people know who made the work. Attribution means to give credit to the person who created a piece of work.
