L.I: What is Media
What is media? What I think what is media is media is technology. I thought of that cause it sounds like it is public to the world and it can connect with other people. Me, Leroy and Jayden thought that Media means technology. We watched a video of what is media. It gave me close answer. It was close to technology.

Visualising
L.I To visualise
Today I was visualising things from a book. I choose 2 books to read and visualise it in a template. I read a page from one of the books and I recreated that in a google drawing. I liked how I made the people in the scenes. There was 2 scenes I had to make. One was a goosebumps book and the other one is talking about disgusting stuff.

Action Planning
L.I: To plan a narrative
Today I plan a narrative. We started out of what our character is going to be. We all choose superhero but one of us choose wizard. We also choose a place for the problem and solution. We picked haunted house. We picked our own super hero name. My one was called Super boltsonic. His powers are Lazer beans, super speed and lighting. The problem in the plan was that we got capture or trapped. The solution was there was a secret open door. That door was the way to escaped out of the haunted house.

Different Measurement
L.I: Different Measurement
Today I did different measurement. It all had different non- standard and standard. I needed to have 10 different objects and measure it to see how long the objects were. I looked around using objects to measure objects that I was measuring. Once I did that I measure the object with a long ruler. All of them were really long. That's why I used a long ruler most of the time.

Kiwi sport (Swimming)
L.I To Float on water\
Today me and the year 4's went to swimming. I haven't swam for 2 years and now I get to swim. I was so excited and so ready to swim. We went in the swimming area and we saw other people from different classes. When we got in the water I started to go under and I opened up my eyes. When I opened my eyes all I could see was just a blur. The swimming place was called YMCA Lagoon. We dive in and we went under the water. I had a struggle with getting up in the water since the water was making these waves that I couldn't balance. The person who teaches us was James. There was another one his name was Cameron. He teaches the other kids that came to YMCA Lagoon before. When I am trying to float on my back I couldn't float cause I was heavy so the water kept on making me sink in the water. We had these diving boards and still I kept on sinking. But James helped me float on my back. I was ignored by the water in my ears cause it felt really weird to me. Before we left we did this one big step jump. Is when you take 1 step and you fall in the water. We changed in our uniform and we left YMCA Lagoon.

Kiwi can
L.I: To bounce back
Today me and Group A went to Kiwi can. We had a good start cause we did a warm up game for the kiwi can leaders. They had to guess what were doing in the holidays by acting it out. We got into our energiser and we played Oder up. How does that game work. Well, the Kiwi can leaders had to tell us what things that goes in order and we had to go in order. It was kinda difficult. Reason why? Cause we had to be silences. We couldn't talk but we nearly got it right. There were 2 mistakes well we were playing it was the birthday moths and the ages. We talk about what we are going to do in the future. I didn't put my hand up cause I didn't know what I was gonna do in the future. We had an activities. Our activities was we played a game called Up or down. To play we had 3 cones and 2 hula hoops. 1 hula hoop to stand in and another one to through in the cones. There were 1 and 2 team. Team 2 won and Team 1 lost. I was in Team 1 but I didn't care cause at the end everyone was a winner. We didn't got to see our points cause we ran out of time.

Duffy Show
L.I:To learn to not be a bully
Today me and my whole class went to the Duffy Theatre. There were 3 people for the Duffy show. They were telling us to not bully anyone. It was hilarious and we all had fun. It was a long show but at the same time we all laugh cause of the jokes that they make. My favourite part of the Duffy show was the jokes. It made me laugh. The story was about a bully. I like how one of them pretends as the teacher. One pretend the shy one and another one is the bully. They change really quickly. We all love the show but we had to go back to class. We finished the show by asking questions. We went back and we finished off our own work.

Fractions
L.I: To know the numbers
Today I did fractions. I learnt how to add on in each box. The fraction were a little bit hard but I finally got a hang of it. Doing fractions were fun.

LS1 Game show
L.I: To see what is living.
Today LS1 did a quiz show for the last day for term 2. We did drawing,sculpting and questioning. All of the task we did were 3 minutes. If one of the team win the team gets a point. In our group we have myself,David,Alisha,Vayan and Fanini. We all try to get points but sadly we had 2 points by Vayan. There were 10 teams. The winner was the wolves. Everyone had good answers. It was a fun quiz.

ASB get wise
L.I: To use our money wisely
Today me and group A had a money lesson with a ASB person. His name was Jayden. He teach us how to use and save money. Jayden told us what cash stands for. C stands for Clear. You need to know what kind of thing that you want. If you're only looking for something like a shoes. Then you need to tell what type,colour,size shoes. A stands for Action. When you do neighbourhood jobs or chores you might or not get money. You can also sell things like clothing that doesn't fit you anymore. S stands for Save. You need to know when you use money and have to save money. If you only got like $3 left. Then go to a shop that offers you money when you pay that way you can add and save up more. Finally H stands for How long. You need to know how long are you going to pay. If you don't know the you will lose your money and you will become homeless.
