Types of foundation
L.I: Different types of foundations
Today Me, Sandra and Chris made a slide show about different types of foundations. The first one is the slab foundation. The slab foundation is when there is a building with slabs. Next it is the pier or pile foundation. The pier/pile foundation is when a house has legs to hold the weight of the house. Third is the wall foundation. The wall foundation is when you put walls to make different rooms in a house or out the house or a shed. Then it is the column foundation. The column foundation is when you make a base and the structure loads into the basement. Finally it is the Cassen foundation. It is like the pier foundation but the legs of the house goes all the way to the bedrock but first it goes through the soil then the clay and it stops at bedrock. That was different foundation.

Mahishasura and Durga DLO
L.I: Myth,Legend and fairy tales
Today I made a DLO out of a slide show about Durga and Mahishasura. Durga is a girl with 18 arms and Mahishasura is a king with a buffalo head. Them 2 had a battle and none of them died. Mahishasura had claws and Durga had a lot of weapons since she has a lot of arms.

Narrative
L.I: What is a Narrative
This is my narrative.
This is my narrative.
On a friday morning Leon woke up and went to the bathroom and
brush his teeth and took a shower. When he was going down stairs he
so a tiny blue and black stripe on it. He wanted to open the tiny box at the
end of the day so he went in the kitchen to get breakfast and went to pack
everything up for school. Well he was walking he saw a fight nearby between 2 adults.
He didn’t want to look at them so he went to continue his way to school. When he got there he only so a
few people because it was to early. He was supposed to be there early because he was supposed to set
everything up for school. When it was 8:30 the bell rang and everyone went to put their bags away and
start doing their jobs. Leon didn’t need to do work because he already done it.
When the second bell rang they all lined
up and waited for the teachers. When the teachers arrived they caught 2 people playing around.
So the teacher sent them to
clean up the
rubbish.
When we got to the floor the teacher started calling the roll. After that we started learning about the
human body.
We learnt about how does baby’s come out of a stomach of a
women.
When I got to work I immediately
got distracted by Chris farts. Everyone laughed at Chris for farting well I was doing my work.
I was so focused and then I got distracted again but this time Hosea act like a gorilla and nearly fell on Bella.
When I was finish another
distraction happened and this time it was
Zepplin.
Zepplin came out of nowhere and pulled my pants down.
I was so
embarrassed when he did that so I told the teacher and the teacher sent Zepplin to detention.

can go to the park. When the teacher said we can go to the park we all ran to the park as fast as we can. The
last person that got to he was Leroy. So Leroy was in. We only got 5 minutes left before the bell will ring.
So
we tried to play as much as we can so we can get tired and got sit down in front of the class so we can be
the first people to be at the line. Same thing happened at lunch time.

I was my moment to shine and finish my work and finally I finish it.
School ended so I ran to my
house and got to the front of the door and open the door. So I got the tiny box
and ran up stairs and changed into my normal clothes and opened it up and saw
my favourite game Fortnite.
So in the weekend I would play fortnite every time of the weekend.

can get 100 percent.

I was my moment to shine and finish my work and finally I finish it.
School ended so I ran to my

and ran up stairs and changed into my normal clothes and opened it up and saw

L.I: To save people
Today me and yr 4's went to swimming. We were learning about how to save people if they are drowning. If we needed help we have to put our hands up and shout out help a lot of times to get the life guards attention. Another one is getting a paddle and pull the person in danger. We also had a noodle instead of a paddle an we use the noodle to pull the person in danger to surface. That was the only thing we did and we went back to school

Rectangles: Mini golf area
L.I: To calculate the area of shapes using multiplication and addition
Today I made a video about area of golf courses. I also did addition and time tables. I also did of how many rectangles that I can find in the rectangles. I had to copy a google draw and shade it in then get the numbers on the google draw and time tables them. If I had a number with no partner I would make them in a individuals number and use them for addition.
Kiwi can
L.I: To solve a problem
Today me and group A went to kiwi can. Then we went into the Kiwi Can room and form a circle. We were talking about problem solving. First we did our energiser. Our energiser was Human knot. We had to rise up our right hand and grab someone else right hand. Next we had to race the other team. The first team to untangle themselves wins but there is a twist we had to use our left hand to make is difficult. My team won twice. It was up to 2. Next we talked about problem solving and how to solve problem. People had good ideas. After that we did our activities. Our activities was mat doge ball and guess GKQ ( General,knowledge and questions). Then we got into our points. In total we got 29.

Sky tower
L.I: Sky tower trip
Today Me and LS1 went to the sky tower for structure. We all split up into group A and group B. When I was with group A we went into a threat to what about the sky tower and we also had a quiz. Next we went in a elevator to floor 50. We all split up into 3 groups of 7 people. I was with group 2. We had cards for keywords for places around the sky tower. I didn't get all of the key words I only got a few of them. After we went in a stair case to floor 45. Floor 45 is the refuel place. That place is the safe place if there is fire or earth quacks. Finally we went out of that place and went in a elevator to the ground floor. Then we went in the automatic stairs and came back up and went out of the sky tower.

Bridges
Today I did 10/9 because I can't find the tenth one. I had to do the year built which is for what year was it opened or build. Length,height,width. The length is long. The height is high and width is wide. I also did the cost which is how much money they paid for the building and the materials is what they used for the building. The bridges that I searched about is the Panmure bridge,Auckland harbour bridge,Mackinac bridge,Eagle pass bridge,Golden gate bridge,Brooklyn bridge,Sydney harbour bridge,GAteshead millennium bridge,Tsing Ma bridge and Akashi-Kaikyo bridge.

Swimming
L.I: Water safety
Today me and the yr 4's went to YMCA Lagoon. We learnt a lesson how to be safe in the water. The instructor told us how to be safe from water. He told us to not go under the platform or else we will drown. He also said that if the your in a river and you try to get out you have to go side ways but going in a corner shape and swim to surface. Our skills was going under water, doing a stream line and more. Once we were done we all went to hi-5 the instructor and swim to the other platform and went out and change in to our uniform and went in the bus to school.

L.I: The history of Tengu
This is about a goblin which is a myth in japan. The myth that lives in the forest is called Tengu. Tengu haves different powers. This myth can turn invisible also can go underwater for hours, haves super speed, flying and shape shifting. Tengu was taken of his powers for a punishment. The ninjitsu is a staff that the Tengu uses but now it is not with him he doesn't have powers.

Today I was measuring rectangles with centre mitres. When I measure the rectangles I had to use the centre mitres into a time table. When I turn the centre mitres into a time table I had to figure the answer to the time table. How I solve it. Well there was a time table chart that everyone can use for time tables.

For the international we used the Mackinac bridge. When it first opened it was in 1957. The length of the Mackinac is 8,038 m. Width of the Mackinac bridge is 21 m and the height is 168 m. The cost of the Mackinac is 70m$. The type of bridge is Suspension bridge. The year of the panmure bridge is 1965. Length is 176 m. The width is 6 m and the height 25 m. The cost is 24m. Me and Chris also did the Auckland harbour bridge. The year of the Auckland harbour bridge is 1959. Length 1020 m. The width is something that me and chis doesn't know. The height is 43 m. The cost is 7.5 m.

James told us how we float on our backs and use our arms to make us float away. We also learnt how to float on our backs with the board that we use like boogie surfing. The last one we had to hi-5 James hand and swim to the ladder. It was fun at YMCA Lagoon.

Kiwi can
L.I: To get your goal
Today me and group A went to kiwi can. We all end up in 4 lines. We straight away got into our energiser and we played 'Snatch'. To play we had a rope to make a circle. We put it on the floor and it became a circle. It was kinda like musical chairs but in a circle. When the music play we had to dance clock wise. When the music stopped we had to go in and grab a cone. The people who didn't get a cone were out. Next we talked about our goal settings. We all had go points of what we feel once we have our goal. We played 'Octopus'. There was a couple of changes. The octopus had to stay in a hula hoop and when the octopus tags a person the person has to stay where they got tagged. Finally we played GKQ [General,knowledge and questions]. All of us had different questions but one of them had a riddle. After that we went back to LS1 for morning tea.

Character
L.I: The appearance of my character
Today I wrote about my character. I wrote about his appearance,personality and experiences. I also talked about what the character would look like. He has a friend called Blox. His secrets is not to tell about his super powers. His phrase is Bolt!!!!. When he says that he will turn into a super hero and also will turn normal once he is finish we his enemy. He behaves good cause he is careful and helpful. When he gets something done with his sidekick he tells him great teamwork. He can also beat box.
Kiwi Sport ( Swimming )
L.I: How to touch the bottom of the Swimming pool
Today me and the yr 4's went to YMCA Lagoon. We learnt how to float on our front. I couldn't float so I kept on doing it until I floated. I could float on my back a little bit. For the people who couldn't float on their backs get to have a long noodled to float on. We also learnt how to swim to the bottom of the swimming pool. We also went through a hula hoop under water. We glide in the water. We had to make little tiny kicks to go forward. We had to use our swimming skills from last week to move forward. I had trouble floating on my front and my back, but when we used the noddles we floated on the water. Me,David and Spelman used them to float because we couldn't float. We had fun at YMCA Lagoon.

Kiwi can
L.I: Goal setting
Today me and Group A went to kiwi can. We end up in 4 lines when we walked in. 2 girls line and 2 boys line. In our energiser we played this game which was fun. We had to get a ball to the other side from your team. The game was called 'Ball trouble'. We had to find people to partner up with. Mr.Matt told us which side we had to go on. But there was a twist. The twist is we cannot use our hands. We had to use other body parts to get the ball to the other side. After that we talk about our achievements/Goal. We all had different ideas for our goal in thee future. In our activity we played 'Tag snatch'. To play we had rips that we had to put in our pocket. Next everyone has to try take out the rips from our pocket. We don't put the persons rip in our pocket, we just had to hold them. We did a GKQ [General,Knowledge and Question] before we did the points. For our points we had 24 in total.

This is all for cybersamrt. Me and group A learnt what is Media? I guessed Media means technology because we watched a video that showed us what is media is. It showed us different kinds of Technology . Media means construction. The Construction is made by different creators. Me and group A made a word cloud. We had to put different words about Friends and Family and School image.
