Mr Twit was waiting for birds to sit on the tree so he can have bird pie. The monkeys try to warn the birds but they couldn't because they spoke a different language which the birds didn't understand.
The monkeys thought the birds were going to get eaten but then the Roly-Poly bird flew down. The monkeys asked the Roly-Poly bird to warn the other birds. When Mr Twit came out all the birds were on top of the cage.
The book is very funny because the way the couple play pranks on each other. This is a book that lots of people would enjoy. I recommend other people reading this.
